Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains what personal data Enterprise Synthetic Co. ("we," "us") collects in connection with ProtoTab DE, and how we use it. The short version: we collect only the billing and contact information you give us at signup, and we never receive your business data.
1. We do not access your business data
ProtoTab DE runs entirely within your environment — in your users' browsers and on a container you deploy and manage in your own infrastructure. Your source data, synthetic data, queries, notebooks, outputs, and usage never leave your environment and are never sent to us. The Service contains no telemetry, analytics, tracking, or callbacks. We have no visibility into how you use the product.
2. What we collect
We collect the information you submit through the signup form so we can provision and bill your account:
- Organization legal name, address, and country of incorporation;
- Billing contact name, email, and phone;
- Authorized-signatory name, title, and email;
- Tax ID / DUNS (if provided), purchase-order number, and configuration choices (subdomain, custom domain, cloud preference).
3. How we use it
We use this information only to: review and approve your signup; create and manage your billing record; issue invoices and process payment; provision your access URL and any custom hostname; and send you account-related email (welcome, confirmation, billing). We do not sell your information, and we do not use it for advertising.
4. Sub-processors
We keep our footprint minimal and use a small number of service providers, each acting on our behalf under its own security and privacy commitments:
- Stripe — stores your billing and contact information and processes invoicing. Your customer record is held in Stripe; we keep no separate copy of your personal data beyond a thin internal mapping (subdomain → billing-record id).
- Cloudflare — hosts our marketing site and the software-delivery edge, and sends our account-related email (welcome / confirmation / demo replies).
5. Retention and deletion
We retain your billing and contact information for as long as you are a customer and as required for tax and accounting purposes. Consistent with our anti-lock-in policy, you may request deletion of your billing record at any time after any retention obligations lapse by emailing us. On cancellation we deactivate your access promptly.
6. Your rights
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of the personal data we hold about you by contacting us at the address below. Because we hold so little — only billing and contact information in Stripe — these requests are straightforward to honor.
7. Cookies
Our marketing site and signup form do not set advertising or tracking cookies. The deployed application runs in your environment under your own policies.
8. Changes
We may update this Policy; material changes take effect when posted here.
